Allergy Awareness & Client Care

Client Responsibilities Regarding Eye Health

If you experience excessive itching, swelling of the eyelids, unusual oozing, or any other abnormal symptoms, it is crucial that you contact your healthcare provider immediately.

The symptoms you are experiencing may or may not be related to your lash extensions, and they could signify a reaction or an infection. It is essential to seek professional medical assistance promptly without waiting for an evaluation from your lash technician.

Health and safety are always our top priorities, particularly when it comes to your eyes. We can revisit the option of lash extensions once your symptoms have resolved, so please make seeking medical help your first step.

Please be aware that any medical expenses incurred will be the responsibility of the client and their respective insurance provider.

Allergies can develop at any time—either suddenly or after prolonged exposure to a product. These reactions are not the fault of the client or the lash professional; rather, they occur as our bodies may react to specific chemicals. It is important to listen to and respect your body's signals.

If you notice any concerning symptoms, seek medical attention without delay. While the symptoms may or may not be related to lash extensions, consulting a doctor is a prudent course of action.

Once your symptoms have subsided, we can discuss potential allergy testing. It is possible that what appears to be an allergy may not be associated with the lash extensions, and you may still be eligible for lash services. Please contact me for additional information, or if you would like to arrange an allergy test prior to your eyelash extension application, I would be happy to explain the process.

Lastly, do not attempt to remove the lash extensions on your own, as home remedies can result in significant lash loss and are not safe. Your health and well-being are paramount, and I encourage you to take these recommendations seriously.
